Abstract:
Un'ora sola ti vorrei, Di madre in figlia, and Il terzo occhio in their authorizing of the mother, respond to the theoretical challenge of how to represent the heterogeneity in relationships between mothers and daughters and the social processes that supposedly make us all Italian women, either mothers or daughters. In Di madre in figlia, this awareness is conveyed by the juxtaposition of the interviews and their contradictory and complex messages.
