Advances in computer technology and the diffusion of personal computers, coupled with the associated hardware, software, and network resources, motivated the development and implementation of new and innovative teaching strategies. Today it is accepted that technology plays an important and integral role in the teaching and learning process to effectively prepare students to face multiple challenges in the 21st century workplace. Within this framework, the role of the teacher is an important one as most of the students' activities in the schools are managed by the teacher.
