Abstract:
The impetus for this exploration into Niue ‘ways’ of doing, of knowing, and of seeing the world has a twofold purpose. Firstly, there is the intent to initiate a basis for a larger project about how traditional knowledge might inform and or provide resilience and a ‘constant’ in an ever changing world and with which to develop notions of a Niue model(s) of social and or community work practice. Secondly, and more importantly, is the intention to fakaalofa to my children and mokopuna whatever I learn about where they too come from.
