dc.description.abstract |
Japnese sushi has gained popularity in the world, epsecially in North Americas, Europe and Oceania. Behind this phenomenon was the inlfux of Korean migrants to these regions in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Korean migrants found a niche market in sushi business in these regions and they filled in the place of ethnic Japanese who virtually stopped migrating overseas after the late 1960s. This is a very unique case of ethnic entrepreneurship. |
