dc.description.abstract Children’s education is usually high on the policy agenda of the governments all over the world. Researchers from different disciplines have been investigating the factors influencing children’s educational outcomes for a long time. A range of factors have been identified in the process, as having the potential to affect children’s academic outcomes. The role of housing has received little attention. This study examined the impact of housing on the educational outcomes of children. It also investigated the nature of the mechanisms connecting the changes in housing circumstances to the outcomes. en
