Abstract:
Make Your Mark On The World: Careers in Geography, Geology & Environmental Science - follows twelve graduates, interviewing them in their places of work and visiting many of their “projects”. They show us that studying geography, geology or environmental science can lead to a wide range of exciting, challenging and rewarding careers, in environmental management, private consultancy, the public sector and the corporate world. This DVD provides prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students and secondary teachers, students and parents with an insight into the career opportunities that lie ahead for students who study geography, geology and environmental science. When used in lectures, it assists lecturers in contextualizing how knowledge learnt at University is applied in the workplace.
