Abstract:
This article continues a dialogue about play in early childhood settings for infants and toddlers in Aotearoa New Zealand. It builds on an earlier article that reported on local research within an international inquiry project into play and learning. From that indepth analysis from research across five early childhood settings, the authors go beyond those original parameters and offer for consideration some insights about how a pedagogy of play could deepen teacher reflective practice.
