dc.description.abstract This chapter presents a case study of the Information Commons Group at The University of Auckland, focusing on the purpose-built Kate Edger Information Commons. It outlines the strategic and operational planning undertaken. to create the large student-centred learning facility that provides proactive integrated learning support in a collaborative, interdisciplinary physical and virtual learning environment. It also discusses the reengineering of the original service model to accommodate changes in learning, technology and student needs. en
