dc.description.abstract	Programming environments do not support ink annotation. Yet, annotation is the most effective way to actively read and review a document. This paper describes a tool, CodeAnnotator, which integrates annotation support inside a programming development environment (PDE). This tool is designed and developed to assist programmers in directly annotating on code within the programming development environment. Programmers will benefit from a more intuitive interaction space to record notes and comments just as they would on paper documents.	en
