dc.description.abstract This workshop will present some principles and activities that enable practising teachers to develop equitable assessment tasks for the linguistically diverse learners in their classes. Bilingual teachers’ reflections about what enabled them to be successful in postgraduate tertiary study will be shared, as will some of their modified assessment tasks. Workshop participants will be provided with an example of a ‘teacher checklist’ tool for clarifying whether their curriculum or course content is reflective of bilingual principles in practice. en
