Abstract:
(translated) In this article, Karen Aardal and others report on the REPRO project, a research project focuses on the development of smart prediction and planning methods for ambulance services. In the Netherlands, the standard is that an ambulance is 95 percent of the emegency cases must be on site within 15 minutes. The newly developed system can calculate the optimal locations of the pitches and the distribution of ambulances about the pitches.
