Abstract:
This paper reports on the progress to date of a PhD project that focusses on providing recent research findings from the science of learning to teachers, to inform their pedagogies. A resource has been prepared and is under development, Teachers are invited to choose principles and practices of learning from those that are set out in the resource, and to apply them to their teaching. The project follows these teachers as they use the resource, and reports on how effective it is in bringing the science of learning into the classroom.
