Abstract:
Thermodynamics is the branch of physical science that deals with the relations between heat and other forms of energy, especially chemical energy. Nonideality refers to the phenomenon whereby physical interactions between constituent molecules result in the storage of potential energy between them, thereby introducing a difference between the thermodynamic concentrations (activities) and their analytical counterparts.
