| dc.description.abstract | The OECD has developed agri-environmental indicators and applied them to many countries and several sectors. The Agricultural Research Group on Sustainability (ARGOS) in New Zealand is following panels of farms in the sheep/beef, kiwifruit, dairy, and high-country sectors to investigate the impacts of management systems on economic, sociological, and environmental dimensions of farming. The intensive investigation and monitoring of these farms have provided data for calculating values of the agri-environmental indicators. This paper discusses the correspondence between OECD indicators and ARGOS data, and considers issues that have arisen in the research. | en |
