dc.description.abstract The September, 19, 2017 earthquake (M=7.1) produced extensive destruction in the States of Morelos and Puebla, and in Mexico City. The local site conditions led to high amplification of the ground motion and about 60 buildings were severely damaged or collapsed. A description is made about the statistics of damaged buildings in Colonia Roma and Colonia Condesa. Most of the buildings damaged during the 2017 earthquake were located in lake bed zone, and some damage was found in the transition zone. en
