dc.description.abstract Discharges from the northern effluent outfall at the New Zealand Steel Works, Glenbrook, have approximately doubled sedimentary Pb concentrations in the immediate vicinity. Analyses of Pb partitioning indicate that no diagenetic processes are operating to remove Pb from the sediments. en
