Abstract:
This chapter uses poetry as a method to illuminate the tensions and wonderment of committing to a bicultural relationship that speaks ultimately to bicultural performances in education. Esther hoped for a poetic conversation between two women, haunted differently through colonization – embodied hurt and lingering crisis – and yearnings for restoration and redemption.
