dc.description.abstract Technology has been long used to support mathematics and vice versa. This paper examines the role of technology, in particular, digital technology in supporting the teaching and learning of mathematics, language, and culture in Māori-medium schools in Aotearoa New Zealand (NZ). Māori-medium teachers, students, and extended families (whānau) have been temporarily engaged in remote learning programmes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Remote learning in this context has been largely dependent on software applications (apps), learning management systems, and social networking platforms. During the temporary school closures, Māori-medium educators have identified, designed, and shared digital learning resources that support the teaching and learning of mathematics and of Māori language and culture.
