dc.description.abstract Audiovisual Translation Studies is currently a relatively new branch in the domain of Translation Studies, attracting vast academic attention, while its terminology and theoretical system are still evolving and being improved. Regarding the terms, research content and methodology of audiovisual translation, Professor Gambier demonstrates his incisive and unique interpretation and elucidation based on his rich experiences in the research and the teaching of audiovisual translation.
