This thesis contains a non-exhaustive selection of papers from refereed journals, patents, significant non-refereed correspondence, books and chapters in the area of evidence interpretation. All of John Buckleton’s papers are co-authored which is the way he prefers to work. He has not pressed claims for first author position. He has presented only those works in which he has had a significant intellectual input and which he considers to be his better work. The papers are grouped into six sections largely based on the category of evidence to which they belong.
