Abstract:
This chapter presents research on team teaching within a tertiary level, pre-service teacher education course. While content knowledge remained a focus for the students and teacher educators, what was given more prominence through our team teaching trial was the subtext of learning about teaching as we taught in a science methods course. This subtext of learning about teaching was addressed by critiquing one another,s practice in front of the students to draw their attention to the complex and challenging craft of teaching science, at any level.
