Abstract
Quantum randomness is postulated and generally reduced to the indeterminism of quantum measurements. The connection to randomness is often made via unpredictability: because the outcome is indeterministic there is no way to predict it, hence it is random. Here we argue that indeterminism and randomness are theoretical, means relative, concepts which don’t imply each other.
