dc.description.abstract |
Natureculture is the idea that nature and culture are so tightly interwoven that they cannot be separated into “nature” and “culture.” In primatology, a naturalcultural framework facilitates conceptual and empirical engagement with the salient sociocultural and ecological aspects of primate lives. These semiotic and material entanglements are increasingly evident as a result of humankind's sociocultural complexity and technological reach. |
